I live in South Africa with my husband, Marius and our two kids, Armani and Alonzo. We have a cute and lovable Labrador, Gimly and although he is a dog he is also considered to be one of the children.
This blog will be a reflection of everything I like and (sometimes) dislike in life, my failures (also known as cooking and gardening) and what makes my inner goddess do back flips.

I enjoy reading romance novels and I do plan to write my own one day. I also plan to go to Paris and have a picnic beside the Eiffel tower. Wink wink. I love cute slippers and lip gloss, cupcakes and milkshakes and anything sparkly and French.
My husband and I love good food and consider ourselves to be coffee snobs. In addition, we also enjoy red wine paired with dark chocolate.
Our family (dog included) travel extensively throughout South and southern Africa and we take hundreds (sometimes a thousand) of photo's while on our trips. The most beautiful part of our country has to be the Northern Cape and the unspoilt beaches of the Wild Coast.
The thought behind Just add turquoise - it is my favourite colour and with everything I do, I just want to add some turquoise!
